Valur Asberg Valsson has been appointed as the Managing Director of Kælitækni, effective from November 1st of this year.

Since 2003, Valur has held a position at Olgerdin Egill Skallagrimsson ehf, and for the past 15 years, he has served as a member of the company’s executive board. Valur graduated with a B.Sc. in industrial engineering from the University of Reykjavik in 2003. He possesses extensive experience in operations and sales and marketing and joins Kælitækni during a period of change and growth.

Kælitækni is a company with over 60 years of history, serving the refrigeration industry in Iceland, both large and small. The company has experienced significant growth in recent years and is now among the most prominent companies in its field in Iceland, both in terms of product sales and services. The company has also expanded internationally in recent years, designing and selling refrigeration equipment for large companies in the food production sector.
